St.Peter Island
St.Peter Island is one of the smallest islands from the five islands of Bulgarian territorial waters of Black sea with area just 15 decare. The above sea-level is up to 9 meters. It’s also known as “The bird island”. From their excrements the rock’s color became white.
Hypothetical cause for the separation of St.Ivan island is the nature cataclysm, because nothing is mentioned in the old written sources until the second half of XIX century. The archaeological examinations found a traces of the Bulgarian national revival chapel and an antique ceramics.
