250size1.jpgThe village of Dobrinishte is situated in the southeast part of the Razlog valley, at the foot of the Pirin mountains, and it stands at 810 meters altitude. It is surrounded by Pirin, Rila and Rhodope Mountains.

The village was inhabited ever since the remote past, the evidence of this is elaborated in the discovery of Thracian and Roman ceramics and coins from the time of the Roman emperor called Neron. Between 7th to 14th centuries, Dobrinishte was a fortress.

Among the tourist attractions in this village are 2 churches- St. Peter and Paul, Uspenie na Presveta Bogoroditsa (The Most Holy Mother), built during 19 century. In the outskirts of the village tourist can enjoy a glance of waterfall named St. Nicholay, and the monastery St. Panteleimon.

Dobrinishte was declared a tourist resort due to the presence of its thermal mineral water. There are more than 15 thermal mineral springs with temperature from 30°C to 43°C. The water is of less – density minerals and it’s medicinal. It’s recommended for diagnoses of the digestive track- gastric, ulcer, chronicle colitis, caries, kidney stone and etc. Two of the hotels in the village offer medicinal bath treatment. There are one mineral bathroom, and three mineral swimming pools for public use.

About 11 km from Dobrinishte is located a cabin/ hostel named Gotse Delchev, standing at 1600 meters above sea level. From here, tourist can reach by lift another cabin called Bezbog, standing at 2240 m above sea level.

The area affords favorable conditions for ski sports, and it has one of the longest ski track in Bulgaria – 5 km long. The favorable alpine nature, combined with the medicinal mineral water is typical of Bulgarian village. This attracts s many tourists and there are hotels of different classes.
